Recently renovated in a discrete, minimalist fashion. Well equipped kitchen that really made it possible to prepare a wide variety of dishes. Pan, casseroles, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a large fridge, all was quite new and clean. The bathroom even had a washingmachine, so it would be good a good place for longer stays. We stayed 5 nights, and there was no cleaning service or change of towels/sheets. This was no problem for a stay of this lenght. On departure we had to clear the room by noon, but were able to leave the luggage in an office for a couple of hours before taking off to the airport.
The street outside the apartement is crowded with hookers, but it does not pose a problem, nor a threat. But my wife had no desire to be out on her own.

Very modern apartment
The location of the apartment was not at all suitable for a family vacation, i.e. in the middle of the "red light" area. Having prostitutes, pick pockets and drug dealers outside of your apartment was very alarming and very intimidating. Having to explain to your 13 year old son what they were doing was not the best start to the holiday!!!!!!

Clean, well appointed, very central.
The street outside was 'seedy' with prostitutes, pimps etc. Could do with an electric jug tomake tea or coffee and some drawers in the wardrobe.

Location
On the street which apartment located, there is so many hookers earning their own lives all day and night. But it is not as dangerous as you think because Police officers usually drove around.

- Good location and a fair price
- The apartaments are located in a very loud area and during the night the neighboorhood get's a little unfriendly and scary

The street does have hookers on it all day long. Did not feel anxious or threatened at all. They have to stand somewhere!!

This location is not suitable for families due to open prostitution taking place right outside the apartment. We felt intimidated when going in and out of the propoerty and would not recommend to anyone else.

The apartment was fantastic. Modern with everything you needed.
The street outside the apartments was atrocious. Prostitutes and drug dealers were outside the door from morning to night. Pick pocketing in the area was also rife. Wudn't stay here again. Would be ideal if you could lift the apartment and place it right on La Rambla.

I loved the location. It was close to public transportation and lots of bars and great restaurants. Right in the mix of things. The apt was spacious and very clean. And we had WIFI and a washer/dryer!
Nothing, everything was great!

City centre location.
Good apartment and modern, but does not look reflect the photos on this site. Two bedroom apartment consisted of a double room (two singles together) and a living area. In the area by the front door (what in the UK would be called a storage area) a single bed was placed. There is no door to this area and it is immediately in front of the front door which is in turn immediately in front of the lift, which is noisy. As this is a fairly uniform block of apartments i would imagine the others have the same layout. Our apartment faced on to the street where you enter the apartment, unfortunately this street is the main street for prostitutes in Barcelona. Not safe, rancid and very, very noisy 24/7. We took this apartment very last minute due to the apartment we had booked being cancelled. I would not recommend the apartments at the prices being charged (over £100 per night).

The apartment was lovely. Very clean and modern. Lacked comfortable seating if there was more than 2 people staying which there was in our group as there was only one 2 seater sofa. Also could have done with a kettle !
The area was appalling. Prostitutes and pimps directly outside the door and along the length of the street 24/7. On our last night there was a riot in the street with big black men sharpening their knives on the corners of the walls, fighting and screaming all night long, police strip searching the pimps in the middle of the street and gay men blatently getting it on. There was no way of reaching the apartment other than through dark alleys which were intimidating to walk along in the dark. Deffinaltely not the place for families with children or female travellers !

modern, clean, functional, served all our purposes and extra bonus of roof terrace and bedroom which we weren`t expecting!
The central location was good but of course the street it is on came as a bit of a shock!! In the end we weren`t bothered by the prostitutes and pimps but we were concerned at first that we could have been! i do think that when a family books they should be told about this!

The location almost on he Ramblas, howeverer the street itself is clearly an active prostitute area. The apartment is modern and newly furbished. Although it can accommodate up to 5, it is not suited for 2 couples, having only 1 bedroom.
The couch doubling as a bed a night.
